In the lounge you can relax on the comfy leather sofa and put your feet up in one of the reclining chairs, watch internet TV or select one of our DVDs or CDs, enjoy dinner at the dining table that seats 6. The lounge and bedrooms have wooden flooring. It has a heatpump and a ventilation system makes sure the air is always fresh.

King bedroom: Enjoy a Posturezone King size bed, specially selected to ensure you have a great night’s sleep. Natural wooden floor with cosy sheepskin rugs. Step out directly onto the spacious patio and garden, relax with a wonderful view over the Whangarei valley and listen to the birds. The room is fully equipped with a hairdryer, heated towel rail, dresser with mirror, built-in wardrobe and two bedside tables.

Super King/Twin bedroom: Enjoy the Posturezone Twin beds which have been specially made to zip and form a Super King size bed. Natural wooden floor with cosy sheepskin rugs. This room has a lovely private 2 sided view into our subtropical garden, wake with the sound of birdsong. The room is fully equipped with a hairdryer, heated towel rail, dresser, mirror, built-in wardrobe and two bedside tables.

The kitchen was last renovated in 2020 and is fully fitted with appliances like toaster, kettle and microwave, oven and big fridge. Cook a barbecue for dinner or visit some great nearby restaurants and takeaways.

Some of our longer term guests have converted the twin room into an office, we can also open an additional room for extra storage.

We ran the apartment for 7 years as a successful bed & breakfast (2010 voted a top 10 B&B in the South Pacific and Australia region!), but due to our other work committments we decided to simply offer it as furnished accommodation, and also open it up for longer term guests whenever required.
