Local Northland & stock photos

Born in Switzerland, I was fascinated by cameras as a kid and by the time I was 20 I chased my Ansel Adams dreams developing arty black & white Ilford prints. At 25 I exchanged my SLR for a small Leica and travelled the world for 2 years - unfortunately the budget was very tight and film rolls expensive, so I hardly took any pictures...

Since then my camera had to fit into a pocket and I settled for point and shoot cameras until I realised once more, that photography is too important to do badly. Finally, in 2015, I went back to photography training and decided to aspire to a professional level, raising my skills by publishing thousands of stock photos, naturally also from the beautiful Whangarei region.

Printing and framing is expensive, but at some point I just had to start doing it and I really enjoy the results.
